Fundraising Requirements
ALL skaters are required to participate in fundraising. Funding assistance cannot be used to pay a buyout as per the organizations' guidelines. If gift card forms are not returned on time, the buy-out fee will be added to your account. Skaters will not be permitted to skate if these requirements are not met. Details of the fundraiser and buy-out options are as follows:
Option #1 Co-op gift cards
You can order them in $25, $50, or $100 amounts. You will earn 10% of sales raised. Example $100 of gift cards sold equals $10 of fundraising.
Option #2 Spenst gift cards
You will earn 10% of sales raised. Example $100 of gift cards sold equals $10 of fundraising.
Option #3 Spenst Pizza
12” Pizzas cost (TBD) each and you will earn $ towards your fundraising amount for each pizza sold. Pizza choices are: Pepperoni & Bacon; Ham & Pineapple; Double Pepperoni; Triple Cheese; Pepperoni & Mushroom; and Garden Harvest.
Option #4 Pioneer Meats
You will earn 30% of sales raised. Example $100 sold equals $30 of fundraising.
Forms will be handed out the first weeks of skating. You collect the money from each person you sell to. Cheques (made payable to WSC) and cash is accepted. Make note of their name, phone number and amount of gift card purchased on the forms (provided at a later date). Hand in everything at skating on the dates indicated on the information sheet. Gift cards will be returned to you in approximately 2-3 weeks and you are responsible to distribute them to the people you sold to.
Gift cards purchased for CO-OP can be used at any local CO-OP grocery stores, gas bars, fashion and appliance/furniture stores. Spenst Brothers Meats is a store in Winkler that sells a variety of meats, breads, and prepared meals.
